Kruger National Park
Kruger : the park is world famous for its size and diversity of African wildlife. We entered the park near Skukuza camp and worked our way slowly (50 km/hr speed limit) up to Satara camp where we stayed for 3 nights. Cousin Josh, to whom we are indebted for his advice regarding our stay at Kruger, and his friend Megan joined us for the last 2 days of our stay at Satara. On day 4 we returned to Skukuza to be picked up by the Trail Ranger and driven to the Metsi Metsi camp - staying in that wilderness camp for 3 nights. The last 2 nights in Kruger were spent at Lower Sabie camp.
|The map shows only a small section of the 300 km long park so there is plenty to explore if we get back there again.
